We are glad to certify once again that the legacy of our “father” project is strong and current: A new article based on results of the AURES project has been recently published in the latest issue of the IAEE – International Association for Energy Economics – Energy Forum.
The article, titled “Auctions for Renewable Energy SupportJust like administratively set support, auction-allocated su...: Lessons Learned in the AURES Project”, outlines the rationale behind the recent strikingly rapid growth in the adoption of auctions as the instrument for securing future electricity production from for renewable energy systems (RES) around the world. The key design characteristics of auctions, along with best practices and potential pitfalls are also presented and described.
