The research group comprises about 25 scientists who analyse energy policy, regulatory frameworks and market designs that facilitate the transition towards larger shares of renewable energy in the energy system, energy savings, and climate change. The team aims for high quality research and policy recommendations on economic and social aspects of energy, by applying methods from microeconomics, econometrics, stochastic optimisation and new developments in experimental/behavioural economics. and climate policy analysis.
